Captain Rees
As captain Rees with wakes up he looks around while rubbing his eyes his squad was still a sleep he looked at the clock and with a sigh he says "6:30 time to go to work." He got suited up and went back into the room and yelled" WAKE UP IT TIME TO GO TO WORK!" His crew slowly rolled out of bed but once they were awake they were running around getting suited up. Captain Rees inspected every one to make sure they were ready then he yelled "GET SET WE LAND IN 5!" Rees and his crew grabbed there weapons and got locked in because they were entering a war zone and it was going to be a bumpy ride. For captain Rees been his was his life at 18 teen he was out of school and in the army his whole life he has been fighting a long sad life. He mumbles to himself "anther day of the grind" as he puts his helmet on. He listens to his crew listen and talk he thinks about how some people won't make it. Hearing explosions in the distends captain Rees yells" we land in 5-4-3-2-1 MOVE MOVE MOVE" he runs off the ship with his crew looking around he sees the blood bath the war has turned into he new he was the only reinforcements the war had for a while they needed to hold out for a little longer. His crew and him run up to he General in charge Rees ask were there needed.
General John yells back to them " west flank there to many they need back up" Rees replies "ok lets move!." They run down to the west flank as fast as they can when they get there they see that there was only 2 squads holding down the area when five enemy squads are attacking them. Rees and his crew a medley took cover and stared fire they new it would take a miracle to hold of long enough. They it is there job so they keep fighting Rees looks and sees Jason get hit he went down he was died Rees also see Ryan get hit in the arm the medic runs of over and gets it patched up. After 5 long hours of fighting the reinforcements came Rees went in with 20 men 5 died 3 wounded. But the won the battle but Rees new the war was far from over. He and what was left from his crew moved ahead to see why the enemy was fight so hard for this area. They discovered a science base it looked like the enemies were try to make a armor suit they were use the rock they found in the cave. The rocks were vary light so it was easy to carry but hard so it would be hard to shoot through. Rees showed it to his scientists they were able to perfect the suit. Rees was asked to test the suit he accepted the test. When he put it on it felt like a winter coat Rees was amazed by how light it was. They new that it could with stand against most weapons but the really big and heavy ones would go through. Rees used that armor to win many great wars. After a while everyone had those suits. War fare started over snipers and Heavy guns were stilled used but for up close combat they used knives because it could get in between the gaps in the armor. Wars were either up close or far away never both. As the days moved on Rees kept fighting day after of endless combat the world had been consumed by war.It was a race to the top but know one was winning.
The Way Out
My name is Benjamin but everyone calls me Ben. I am a private I joined the war at the age of 19 my father was the great Captain John but he disappeared when I was 8. I grew up with my uncle Kehl he wasn't the best parent in the world but he was all I had. I wish I new my dad better all I new was that he was a great fighter he helped win some of the biggest wars the only person better than him was Captain Rees. People expect me to be as good as him maybe even better. That is a lot to expect out of a new recruit. I train hard but I will never be as good as my dad. Won of his greatest battle also his last battle before he disappeared. He fought 500 men with only his wits he out smarted them and used the field to his advantage the only help he had was captain Rees he saved a town of 250 families. Many loved him for that but the next day he disappeared I miss him he could have showed me all his ways I could have been his right had man but I am not.I believe he is still out there some where a lone like me looking for a way out a door.
I train every day all day I just finished today's training yet I don't feel any better, stronger, or smarter. I have my first battle tomorrow I don't want to die but many of the new recruits don't make it through there first battle. I hope I have the luck of my father.
I have survived the first battle I might actually have the luck of my father after all. I am 1 of 3 recruits that made it. I want to no more about my father the only person that now were my father is Captain Rees but he is frozen for the future when we really need him. I don't now any one else that might now my fathers where about. My mom might but I would have to track here down she left when my dad disappeared she must of not been able to take the news of his disappearance. The only problem with finding my mom is she could have killed here self for all I now no won knows where she went either. Tomorrow I get shipped out to the new battle grounds.
I got shipped to the new battle grounds I am in Iranistand ( modern day Afghanistan and Iran.)The battle has been going on down here sense year 2000. It has almost been 156 years sense then. I had a weird dream last night it was a door with a light behind it there was something on the other side. I think I know what was on the my dad it was this feeling like I been there before. I have to find that door I know that my dad is on the other side of the door I just know it. That is my way out of all this war, killing, and death.
Another long day we were ambushed today while transporting food. Many died but we pulled through. Every one wants to escape all the killing but we can't for years we have been trying to end all these battles but we can't. Like my father use to say "it is a race to the top but now is winning." It means every country wants to be the best of the best but no one is actually winning it is a tie for the first.
I heard to day that I might get shipped home for a couple of weeks. They won't tell when still I am happy I can go home for a couple of weeks. The only down fall is that my home is in a area that we can be attacked at any time but we haven't been Attacked for 20 years 1 year before I was born. I can finally fix some things with my family while I am down there.
I got my first badge of honor to day. There was a supply truck full of ammo and food I heard that there was going to be a ambush on our supply tuck. So I got a decoy truck to go first load with man ready to attack when they heard the sound of the ambush. The men attacking ran down the hill yell and shooting then the men in the truck jumped out and killed the attackers. Only if you could see there faces there was only one thing wrong with ambush. Usually when they ambush the have 15-20 men today they only had 10 recruits. The only reason I new about the attack was there was a spy that we have on the inside I was the one who got him in there base. The Iranistands are up to something I know it I have to talk to my friend and find out what there plan is.
I was shipped home last night I finally can rest in my own home well my uncles home. My uncle told me the bad news that he was dieing of a heart diseases he didn't know how long he had left. He also told me that if he died that I shpu;d read his will he also told me were it was. Even though my uncle wasn't the best parent he still was better than my mom and now he is dieing I don't know what to do I will miss him I will treasure my last days with him.
My uncle died today 1 week after he told me the bad news. He was just up stairs watching TV he got up to go to the bathroom and just fell to the ground. I was in the living room watching TV and think about my father when I heard the load thud. I ran up stairs saw him on the floor. I knelt down next to him and he looked at me and said "don't worry every one dies adventitiously it is a natural cause" he coughed a little and I heard his voice getting weaker and weaker with his last breaths he said "find your mom she knows the answers to your questions her name was, Mis." He died before he could finish the sentence.
I read my uncles will all it says is that every thing goes to me so now it is my house. Also at the bottom of the note it had a little P.S note it said " Ben if you are reading this I am dead I know that you had many questions about your dad so did I only your mom knows what happened to him her name was Mishell do what I never did find out bout your mother." Now that I know my mothers name I can find her I have so many questions for her.
I looked my mom up in the phone book in the back of my uncles closet when I opened the book to M for Mishell a piece of paper fell out it read " Ben if you are reading this this means I am dead you found out you mothers name but I have one more thing for you to help you discover what happened to your father in the basement there is a journal in the box labeled J.S it is your fathers journal." After reading the note I found my mothers address wrote it down on a note card but before I left I went down stairs and found my fathers journal. I put it in my coat pocket and set out to find my mother.
I found my mother she lives in an apartment in the edge of town not many live on the edge of the town it is vary dangerous because if we were attacked the first area to be attacked it the edges. When I knocked on the door an old lady answered it I asked for a Mishell the old lady said "Mishell doesn't have many visitors what is your business." I replied "I am her son." The old lady said " is your name Ben?" I answered "yes." She looked at me and said "your mom has said much about you she will be happy to see you." I smiled nodded and she showed me to her room.I knocked on the door I here a lady yell " who is it" I reply "it is Ben your son." I here loud noises and the door swings open the lady was tall with dark brown hair and a tried look in here eyes with a smile on here face. She hugged me and said "you found me". I stayed there for a couple of hours talking to her. She explained why she left and why she didn't ever come back to find. She left because the news my father gave her turns out my father was going to be frozen like Captain Rees but when my father was about to be frozen the factory was ambushed my father wanted Reese's body to be safe he stayed back to give the escape truck enough time to get away but there was to many he was killed. They military came and told my mom that my father was killed by an ambush they gave my mom a not my father had written before he died. My mom gave me the note. I read and can't believe what I read. It says " dear Mishell If you are reading this I am dead but are son Ben must read this when it is time I have a secret there is an item tested here something that will help us win the war I can't explain it it was tested on Rees and me we know what it does the only way to find it is looking at the security cameras where I died"
I after reading that I didn't know what to do I went and got my dads journal It was write were my uncle said it was. I read the last page it say the same thing as the note that the drug was hidden in the facility. i don't know where the facility is though. I will have to ask some officials where it is but no one will probably tell me.
I talked to some officials they wouldn't tell me but i have a plan to find out. There are records of everything that happens if it is something really bad or depressing it is marked classified and put in the classified cabinet and forgotten. I need to find that cabinet. I also know that there are copies of every file 1 set goes to the president and the other stays with the military. My only choices is to break into to one of the cabinets. I will see if I can gain accesses to the cabinet or at least find out where it is. Then i will need to steal it.
Like I thought it is the storage room with all the other files and junk storage in there. We put old weapons new weapons and other stuff we don't need or want any more. That is why there are guards that watch it twenty four seven. There are to guards on the out side and to on the inside. I need to distract the outside then knock out the inside guards. Go to the cabinet and get my files. I have a tranquilizer gun but I don't know if it is the smartest idea. I can use it on the out side then the inside will check to see what happened and I will tranquilize them too.
I made it in and got the papers Know I need to find out were my father was before he died. It says that he was taken to a lab to have test run on him before he was frozen they were attacked and he hid the drug that they were going to experiment on him and fought the attackers so Rees's frozen body could get moved out of there. He died after 3 bullets to the chest 1 in the leg 1 in the arm and one in between his eyes. Normal soldiers would have died after 1 or 2 bullets to the chest but it says he never died tell the last one in his head. He must have already taken the drug maybe that is what it does makes you stronger but I don't know tell I find it.
I found the place where my father died there place is abandon and half destroyed but the security cams are still up and running I need to find the main frame to look at the security cams. When I found them it showed that my father hide it behind a fallen cabinet also that he killed everyone in the building a sniper finished him off. I found the drug all I need to do is to get to military base for testing.No one knows except one old friend who and he is spy for us I helped him get the job so this will be easy and safe.
(modern Time 1st person perspective)
I walk out the door get in my car and start heading back. In my rear view mirror I saw some tracks fallowing me so I served left and right trying to shake them then they pulled out and leaned shout at me I realized they were after the drug but how? I thought about and realized my friend had betrayed me he wanted the drug. I pulled out my pistol and started firing behind me no good then a bullet came through the window and hit me in the left side of chest I was die my only choices was is to take the drug so I gave my self the drug but left some for testing. Every thing got weird it was like slow motion. then from behind I herd a noise then I realized what it was MISSILE! I tried to jump out of the car with the drug the car blew up the force pushed me far a head. My ears were ringing I try to run but it was hard.Finally came to my senses and ran the cars kept coming I through a grenade be hind me it blew up a truck. I could see the base it was close but the trucks were gaining. I started running then I realized I was running like 40 mph. The drug improves every skill. I felt amazing running this fast I would be at the base no time. A truck pulled up next to me the gunner aimed at me and shout I dodged the bullets and shout back with my pistol. killed the gunner then the driver. I kept running I was about to make in the walls when a bullet from one of the trucks gunners hit me in the leg. I fell to the ground tried to get back up. It was hard I called in to the base the alarms sound people ran around grabbing guns and firing at the trucks. I sniper shout I saw the bullet hit write next to me I turned around and another bullet came and hit me in the stomach. Bullets kept fly I saw the men every where dieing. One of my friends dragged me away from the battle. I looked at him handed him the drug he asked me what it was I responded vary faintly " it is a drug that will win us the war test it and the make copies it was a top secret mission my father had they were testing it on him he used it to protect the drug." My friend looked at me and said "I get you a medic you will make it". I replied "no I wont make but it is OK I will be with my father I see him right now he is standing in a door way be-caning to me to come join him. I as the door way got closer the less and less I could see my surroundings and hear them. Tell the door was right next to me and then I entered the door I saw my dad and I ran to find him. I knew I was dead I had my father there with me and we waited for my mother to join us.

As Rees opened his eyes after being frozen for 150 years. He looked around the room in a daze . Over a loud speaker he heard a voice "say good you made it. We'll help stand up and walk around get uses to being awake again. It's year 2306 brought back for help. We have conquered earth but are enemies flew to different planets. Mars is owned by the Aranistands. Moon is owned by the Erusian (modern day Russia and Europe.) Pluto is owned by Other people that survived the war but don't want to be part of any team out there so they made there own. There is also a new planet way out past Pluto are allies went out there but we haven't heard from them yet. We might be in the war alone. That is why we called you back to train new special recruits in your image and to fight in wars you will have your own squad again. What do you say want to help us."Rees still a little dazed looks around the room and answers "well I really don't have any other choice I guess I am in." The loud speaker replied " good we will get you suited up and training but first you need rest." Rees went to bed and in the morning he trained it took him 1 week of train to return to being the best.
After several more days of training he got use to the future world. Every thing was different but he liked it was more peaceful than back in the when his friends were a live but he new he would have to make more. After 1 month of training learning and practicing he got he first mission. He had to had to plant x the called it past Pluto where there allies had disappeared. He got on the ship and had to go into cryo sleep where you are frozen it takes a year to get there but it is like you never age. When Rees got there he saw that there seemed to be what was left of a camp that the allies set up. When he went to scout it there was no sign of any of them. They looked every where no sign of any of them something had happened to them there are no traces at all. Rees let a search party look around no traces tell later that day when a knew recruit shouted "General Rees sir you might want to see this." He went to look and what he saw he could not believe The ary was dead just laying there it was a battle field vary few enemies were killed. How were so many men killed with such a little loss of there men was asked. Also it was asked what are they when there bodies were found it was not like a human there blood was green the were they all were at least 8-10 feet tall with 4 finger there heads were a little longer than a humans they wore armor on there body legs head and arms it was just regular metal. Their feet had three tows they wore no shoes or perfection on there feet. The armor was kind of weak so they wondered how so little were killed tell the inspected one of the ally bodies. There was a black spot in the middle of there chest like a fire ball had hit them but it was only in the little area it had crushed the bones and organs on the inside. It was a powerful weapon what ever they were using. Rees knew that either the things lived here or were camping here when the allies in countered them. If there still here that is a mystery what language the speak also unknown. All the new was the better fortify them self so that there ready for and attack. There vary smart to none of there weapons were left behind so that know one could take them. Rees new that this first in counter might be his last fight of his life.
Know one knew what to do to prepare them self for so it was kind of tricky training for the battle. Rees tried to contact earth but the radio could reach out there. So that meant no back up. This meant it was going to be a long hard battle. He trained his troops over and over he made them train three times as much as they used to. They hated all the training but the knew why there was so much training. After a week of training the day they all feared came the saw a small army coming towards them to scout the area for any knew signs of life or survivors. When they saw the fort most of them hid behind rock or trees. A small group of about 3 came slowly for word. When they entered fort the looked around we were all hiding Rees was under a pile of logs the with the ground under them howled out. Rees watched them as they tried to say something finally the were able to utter a small word in a deep voice they said "hello." Rees came out from under the logs and answer with a hello. The aliens turn around and look at him. He asks how do they know English the try to responded but all they can say is "creatures come before here learn quickly language not well." It took Rees a second but he figured out that they were saying that there fast learners and figured out some of the language from the allies.
Rees talked to the aliens for a while. He found out that they had a couple of the allies held captive a waiting there death penalty. He tried to talk to them about getting the allies out of captivity but he aliens told them that there leader decrees it. So all the allies were sentenced to death by stabbing of plasma swords. Rees was confused on the death penalty. Rees thanked them for the information and they left with peace. After they left Rees called a meeting told them they need to get the survivors from captivity. So they planned a attack at there base they got picture of the hide out were the aliens hid. They knew that either they will get away with it or die trying. There plan was perfect but the only problem was that no one knew anything about there weapons.
Rees and his men started on there journey towards the enemy base. When they got there they camped in a near by cave tell night. Then a small group of men and Rees snuck in and found the prisoners. On there way out a guard spotted them and yelled prisoner escape. Rees shot him and ran they army quickly formed and chased after Rees and his men. Rees regrouped with the rest of the men and ran for the ship. When they got there every one pilled on. They aliens were coming quickly the never take off in time Rees had a Idea. He got off the ship with his hands up. The aliens took him captive and let the rest go. Rees was put in jail. He was charged with death because he never hurt any one. He was forced to be prisoner forever. So Rees spent his days waiting and learning about the knew found enemy.
Rebirth
As Aberaz got up from sleeping he new that to was the day that he joined the army today. He fought on the Alrainy side. There was also the Brocnadoor and the Caltrainy clans. His world had four clans the four clans haven't been united in 124 years. When they were united the Xiseies (The species name) were unstoppable. Until the Golondies thought that they should be the leader the most powerful clan so they rose to power it took all the rest of the clans to stop the Golondies. They were wiped out the clan went instinct.
Aberaz walked slowly down the hallway tell he found the training room. When he entered he was told to but his armor on and head to simulation room. He walked in the simulation room. It was a blank room Aberaz sighed and said "I am ready start it up". The room started to alter forms started to take shape. Aberaz readied his weapon next thing he knew he was in the rain forest battling enemies were all around him. He took cover and started firing back. One by one Aberaz started killing them tell they were all dead. They rain forest started to blur and then it all dissolved. Aberaz stood there waiting tell he heard the load speaker say " you pass head to the main room to get your armor and medals." When Aberaz got there they handed him some armor and gave him three medals. 1 for speed 1 for accuracy and 1 for the ability to maintain composure in the mist of battle. After a month of being in the army he was at the top of his class. He fought battles along side his general. The general thought of him as his right hand man.
After a hole year of being in the army he had become the general the old one retired. Aberaz lead many great battle and fought vary well. He his medals started out with three and the turned into over 45 medals. Aberaz thought this was a good life and that his battles were easy so he never worried. Tell one day it started out with him just going to check out some weird activities. Was a report of some disappearances and plasma shot but the caller could clarify if it was really a plasma shot. He went to go check it out with a small squad. When they got there all they saw was a abandon house. When they entered the house in the middle of the floor there was a symbol of the Golondies. At first they thought this would just be a little clan try to bring the Golondies back to life like usually. When they looked for the gang they found nothing but they did find a trail of foot steps and some blood. They flowed it to a small camp they thought it might be abandon but they still have to check it out. When they got down there about 30 people jumped out of know were and started firing. Aberaz ran back but still firing at the enemies one by one the group started dyeing by the time Aberaz had gotten over the hill he was the lst one left his squad was dead and he realized one thing that the Golondies gang was back. He new that because when he look a little after the camp you saw a city full of Golondies.
When Aberaz got back he called an emergency meeting. He talked to the generals of the other three clans. After the meeting they agreed to talk to there leader about joining the clans together to fight the Golondies. The leader denied the request saying that there is not enough proof that the Golondies are back. Also that they has shown know threat against there Clans yet until then there Clans will not join together. Aberaz was mad about the request being denied. Aberaz knew that there was a big war ahead of him all he could do is wait.
The Beginning of the end
I have been deployed to Harina the mist of the battle between the Golondies and us the Alrainy. My name is Aberaz. The Golondies are a clan that was our strongest fight they went exscinded or so we thought. Recently they have come back they number are far greater than we imagined. When ever we win a battle a week later there are more we tried to figure out were there are coming from but the Alrainy's can't do that we are the one fight the other to clans are just sitting there they say there waiting and going to help when we can't fight no more. I don't see how that will work but We can't argue with them they are to stubborn.
I just landed and realized that the war is 5 times worse then the last time a saw it. There were so many there use to be only 500-1,000 enemies there army is up to well over 3000-5000 now. We are struggling to keep them held back were are they all coming from. I got up to the front line with my troops. The leading officers looked at me and said "it is a honor to have you no offense but we need more than you ser there are thousands now." I thanked him for the advise and told him I would radio in for more troops. After I radioed in and the base about the trouble they sent out 1000 more troops but they wouldn't be here for 14 more hours so we had to hold out. Iran back and told the officer the news he was happy and a little worried that we might make it that long. I told him we would be fine before me and my squad departed and left for the right flank. We fought hard and good for several hours. When there was 4 hours left we thought that we might make it until. I saw a motor bullet falling towards us where had it come from I thought before it land and blew apart the right flank. When I opened my I still in a daze my ears were ringing stood up and staggered toward a fallen friend I could se the death in his eyes after one look. I knew he had passed on I was mad and confused that was a bigger explosion than usually for a motor. I look around and saw the allies retreating that the motors were firing. I tried to run but sense I was still in a daze would only make it a few feet then fall over. I stood up and tried to stumble over towards cover. I noticed that the motors had stopped firing. I saw the ships in the distances only 2 more hours tell arrival but would we make it that long. I look over the cover and saw the enemies charging turned around and saw the allies running. I most of passed out because the next thing I saw was the reinforcements landing and charging out. The enemies were running back to there ships they knew they were out matched.
I was dragged to the ship and given medical intention. I was feeling better since the little nap I had 5 minutes ago. All the survivors loaded up and taken care off. We started to take off. In a few seconds we were off. Was about a 3 hour ride back I decided to sit back and relax. About half of the way there alarms started going off I realized there was a missiles heading for use. I buckled up prepared for a rough landing. We maneuvered away from most of them and the last missile hit use we went straight down. I woke up in the middle of the desert. If there were any survivors from the crash they had already left because every one else was dead. I started stumbling down towards the base. I new I had a hour of traveling a head of me. I walked for miles and miles it felt like days had gone by when I finally got to my base. I stumbled in and fell straight on the ground. I was helped up and given food and water. I recovered in about a day. When I felt good enough I went my leaders and told them It was we joined to gather we will never win at this rate they took my word and all three colonies joined together. Then the leaders told me that the received word of where the enemies are coming from and they are going to assemble an army that I am going to lead to wipe them out. I knew that this was only the beginning of the biggest war in are history.
Beginning of a great friendship.
I am Aberaz leader of the Armageddon army. We have been sent to a unknown planet that are enemies have been said to have set up there main base. We are the army made up of are best soldiers we have sent to wipe out the new apposing threat.
I wondered down the hall ways of my base inspecting every room to make sure all was in order. When I was done inspecting I headed towards the blasting range to practice my shot. The day seemed to move really slowly an I kind of like it because tomorrow I head out to the unknown planet. I after the shooting range I wondered to a meeting where are leader where filling us in on the final details about are mission. After that I went and did some drills with my team. I knew that tomorrow was going to be along day.
When tomorrow came I got up woke my army up and we prepped for launch. When we got down to the launching station we were briefed on what to do when we got there. Then every one said bye to there love ones and we departed. I wondered about my life on the trip. Every one had some one that loved them. Not me though I am a orphan and have now wife or kids. I spent all of my life fighting and training. I never had many friends. Here and there I had 1 or 2 but we usually split up after a while. I thought to my self when this war is over I think I will retire and try to raise a family. When we family were 1 hour away from landing I should up and gave every one the speech. I yelled " alright we are going into a active war zone keep you head low and your aim straight and you might make it out a live." I new most of us would die maybe even all of use but I didn't want to tell them that. It would break there spirit and that I can't have.
When we landed and the doors opened me and the army charged out of the ship. When we were all out we new something was wrong there was no gun fire. We stayed alert while we scouted the planet about 20 mile from the landing zone was a small camp we attacked it but this army was to small. It was a diversion. They must have fled the planet when they heard we were coming. Set up camp and in the morning. I sent some scouts out to look for any other camps. For hours no report then 8 hours after they were sent out I got word that they saw a camp. They descried it as a strange fort that was made out of some brown material. The material was rough and long. They didn't attack the fort so they didn't know how strong it was.
We decide to go to this strange fort and see who owns it. When we got there they creature that owned it were vary strange. They stood about 5-8 feet tall with strange helmet that were vary fury. They were a white, brown, or light brown color. None of the creatures looked anything alike. They didn't even speak are language.
After a while we talked thought hand symbols then we taught each other are languages. We are species were friends for 2 weeks. We were just learning that wood was what there fort was made out of. We also were learning about there problem back at home the war in there solar system. Then one day a fight started in the town square shots were fired. We don't now who all I new is that a war started in a town square people were shooting back and forth. I tried to stop but I couldn't I found myself in the middle of that battle trying to survive. When it was all over we had 20 prisoners and only 200 men died out of 500 in the battle. The humans were completely wiped out. I we told are leaders about the new species and the fight. I need to new the penalty for the prisoners. My leader told me that they will be stabbed my plasma swords. It was a normal war penalty. So I thought this wasn't a battle we should worry about. We moved are fort for safety. We waited a couple of day nothing then on the 6th day we saw a ship. A human ship landing near the old human fort. I new either the humans would make could friends or strong enemies. Something told me this was the beginning of the end.
